I have to say this is one of my favorite quilts. I liked my first version of the Mosaic Tiles Quilt.
Although this has taken over. I was in love with the top and really unsure how to quilt it. Inspiration came from my sewing weekend and seeing a quilt one of my friends was working on. Just straight line quilting, but more organic. Wonky might be another good way to explain it.
For the back I used just Kona Charcoal and left over pieces from the first quilt.
My wonderful husband helped me photograph both of these on a very cold morning. I took pictures of the quilts side by side on my camera and was going to edit them on our drive to PA this weekend. Well guess where my camera is? Sitting on our coffee table in IN. The side by side will have to wait until Monday.
It’s great to see everyone’s interpretation of one pattern. Stop over to the Quilt Along Page and see everyone’s submissions.
After making two of these quilts, I have to say it’s a great easy pattern. If you need a go to pattern for a baby quilt, small throw, etc this should be in your arsenal.
