Hi I’m Tisha and I like fabric…A LOT! Let me introduce you to my quirky little corner of the internet:
- I have been sewing for a really long time. I learned my ABC’s at my gramma’s sewing machine. Don’t ask me to hem your pants though, clothes are weakness.
- Beer…I love it!
- Chocolate will be the death of me.
- Taco Tuesdays are my favorite day of the week. My wonderful husband makes amazing creations on Tuesdays.
- 90’s Hip Hop is my jam!
A long time ago it was apparent to me that I can’t really draw or paint. Give me fabric and I can create something. It makes sense in my brain.
Making items that brings others joy is also important to me. Not only is it my “therapy”, but I may provide others something that allows them to have an outlet: Snuggle, Sizzle, Snooze…all with a Stitch. The name comes because my old roomie came home one day to find me basting a quilt in work my clothes. She asked, “What are you doing?” My response, “I’m just sewing out my stress.”
Supporting small businesses and local companies is important to me. So lucky that where we live there is a great variety of breweries, shops and retailers that are apart of my life. Plus Indy is home, where we have put down our roots. So glad too. The ladies of the Indy Modern Quilt Guild are amazing and inspire me regularly.
