Mormor Baby Quilt

When the Mormor line came out from Lotta Jansdotter I quickly picked up a fat quarter bundle.  The colors and prints I couldn’t resist.

I got a request for a baby girl quilt from my brother in law.  It’s for a little sister of a quilt I have made in the past. However I needed this quilt quickly.  Guess what I made?

The binding was put on this quilt and handed to the new owner.  For the binding I went with the solid teal in the bundle.  mormor quiltThese colors work together so well.

I have some fabric leftover and I feel more a boy version coming soon.  Considering maybe a plus quilt.  My neighbor is expecting and they have an adorable nursery.  It just needs something patchwork.
