Going back to one of my favorite books for this quilt. Lindsay Conner’s Modern Bee Book. This is a pattern I have long admired but have not made one. I was given some colors for this baby quilt and instantly thought of this pattern.
Colors: pale pink, light gray, periwinkle, and a light green.
Finding a delicate pale pink was really challenging. I scoured some local quilt shops and didn’t find the color I truly wanted. Luckily, I was able to find most of my fabrics needed from Stitch Stash Diva. They were great about responding to my color and yardage questions to get just what I wanted for this quilt.
Now that I’m cutting this quilt, I have too much fabric of some, but I have plenty of other projects in mind to use them for.
Think of me in the coming days. I will be buried in making half square triangles for the blocks.
